Another Shaw Production.
Deliberately slow build up to the most insane human bridge sequence on film. Much stronger second half when the women warriors are marching toward their enemy, the evil king and his princes, who murdered their father. The Amazons are hellbent to avenge his death and the death of the men from their clan, which underscores the feminism without being heavy handed (the remaining men are necessary for the mission). Big fight setpieces and some crazy kills. Also gruesome torture and death scenes before the final battle but overall a solid Shaw Brothers flick with a stacked cast led by women.
