Viewing Notes

Now I understand why this has so a low RT rating! And why it was only showing in one theater in all of Chicago. Despite a reasonably good cast and unusual story, this feels like it’s punching air. Full of mostly despicable characters, it’s hard to care about any of them, including Simon Pegg’s Charlie. When there’s no sympathy for even the lead character it’s a challenge to invest more than a passing interest in what’s going on around him.

Certainly watchable when it hits Netflix but ultimately forgettable.
