Viewing Notes

Quaint yet tragic alt.story about a father caring for his infected daughter during a zombie outbreak. This is like a side story to a much larger story. It’s definitely an interesting movie with some nice performances esp. by Arnold in a purely dramatic role for a change. Unfortunately this movie didn’t quite grab me.

Feels like something I’d see at a indie film fest. The look, how it’s shot, the score, and it’s one location setting all screams indie. Weird to see in a multiplex. Just has a more intimate nature to it. I almost feel like it would play better watching at home on TV.
