Overview

The Yangs are betrayed by a government official conspiring with the Mongols. All of the Yang family males except the 5th and 6th brother are killed. Fu Sheng loses his mind after the death of his family, while the other brother takes refuge in a Buddhist temple.

Another annoying thing about El Rey Network is when the scheduling is off so the DVR misses the beginning or the ending of a movie. Such is the case for this movie in which the beginning was trimmed off. Starts right where Alexander Fu Sheng is losing his mind over the death of his brothers.

Kara Hui is a total badass in this. Worth viewing for her alone.

This is such a great movie that I just need to buck up and buy the DVD. Not optimal viewing on El Rey.
