Viewing Notes

Had not even heard of this one until I saw it was programmed by El Rey. Lo Lieh wields weapons that are basically oversized boomerangs with saw-teeth; they buzz right through everything. Pretty wicked and used to decapitate. Lo Lieh is once again an evil henchman on a mission to retrieve a magic herb medicine for his master. He decapitates everyone in his way.

He’s betrayed by his troupe of henchmen including Terry Lau Wai-Yue who has a neat set of needle fingers she uses. Nancy Yen Nan-See is also formidable as a heroine. I also like Lau Wing as a hero with his steel rings. Lots of interesting weapons on display here!

Giving this a 7/10 for the creativity and weapons otherwise a fairly basic story. But watching all those heads get lopped off is pretty damn fun.
