Viewing Notes

Total bonus having Chia Ling (Judy Lee) in this. She’s awesome. Sad demise for Carter Wong, however! Fairly basic story with the princess taking the royal jewels to give to the rebellion and aided by a couple of bodyguards while the emperor’s men track them. Bruce Li and Chia Ling fight them off until a final battle and boss fight with the evil Chang Yi, who is a super badass once again.

Hilarious that Yi’s white-haired emperor takes an opiate to improve his kung fu. Was almost sure the movie was gonna crap out at the end when it was clear that the remaining three rebels weren’t going to defeat Chang Yi.

Pretty decent flick overall that suffers from that horrible print. Action is good and there is a stellar scene with Chia Ling that deserves a better release. I question if a source exists for a better release.
