Lately I’ve been coming to terms that some films just aren’t for me. When I got serious about watching movies a few years ago I had this idea that that I should like, enjoy and appreciate quality film. However, on this journey I’ve realized more and more that despite the many well-made substantial films that exist, some just are not for me regardless of how good they may be.
This is one of those movies. Has everything to make it better than average with very good performances, believable characters and a solid story. But it’s just not for me. My audience, which skewed older than me, ate it up. It is a movie that I know my parents would enjoy. Sam Elliot is perfect as a silver fox and has most of best moments for me.
