Viewing Notes

Not nearly as bad as many critics have mentioned but not a good movie to be certain. I rather enjoyed this mashup of the first two films (T1 & T2) down to actual scenes and identical beats. Besides the insanely goofy-ass plotting, the humor is so damn flat my eyes grew tired from rolling back into my head. Unbelievable how awful the comedy is. Feels so forced in an otherwise serious movie.

The other BIG problem is so many questions that never get answered. Then there are just dumb scenes like a moment when Arnold and Jai are loading bullets into magazines… something that Arnold had 30 years to do but decided to wait until they literally have no time to waste.

Crazy how bad most of the movie is and yet still manages to provide enough thrills to at least make me feel my time wasn’t wasted. Overall I just found it weird for this movie to pay homage so heavily to the first two movies. But clearly the sum is not greater than the parts.

There’s more and I could go on but I really don’t care. Would I watch this again? Sure.
