Not quite as good as its sequel, MAGIC OF SPELL, mostly because it spends far too long setting up the Peach Kid origin, i.e. full grown Peach Kid. It’s a lot of slapsticky comedy with PK’s adopted parents. It’s not bad just extensive probably because they geared this toward a younger audience.
Still hilarious that Lam Siu-Lau is cast as Peach Kid, a boy, when she has visible “womanly features”. The Evil Devil, as if there are other kinds of devils, is pretty badass as are his minions that have flamethrower staffs. Real flamethrowers lighting people on fire.
