I’ve never seen a DBZ movie. After this it’s likely I may never watch another DBZ movie. I can’t say this is bad or even that it’s not for me but the reality is that I don’t feel like I want to invest the time into learning this universe and these characters.
Nothing here grabbed me to make me want to know more. I was hoping that this movie would at least provide something for newbies to the franchise but it doesn’t. It just drops you into a story with characters that you’re expected to know. Maybe like the Naruto movies I suppose.
I guess my audience seemed to enjoy the film by their reactions. I was bored and nearly fell asleep. I do like the music especially the Momoclo (Momoiro Clover Z) tunes (but I already like them).
