BCHFF Day 4 - Movie 5, the 17th and last film of the festival.
Didn’t realize this was found footage. Was really hoping it would be a blend between ff and regular filming but nope. The Google Glass thing wears out its welcome fast turning a cool premise into a slog. Doesn’t help that it takes an hour to get to the real meat of the story.
I like the demons unleashed angle in Jerusalem even with the girls but viewing it all as found footage is so unnecessary and diminishes the impact. Also corny at times especially during a sex scene. There is a plot point at the end that makes no sense how it comes about.
The biggest head scratcher however is why place the most interesting character, the MAIN CHARACTER, behind the Google Glass unseen for most of the movie. She deserves better.
