Pretty stoked to find this on Amazon. Was sad I missed it at B-Celebration a couple years ago.
Over halfway into this and I’ve got the bead on this flick. Basically it appears to be a vehicle to showcase the practical FX skills of this young indie crew. Lots of great FX from the make-up and prosthetics to the blood and gore. The plot makes little sense and the movie is longer than it needs to be. Actually if this had been tightened up it could be a stronger film.
As it stands not a very good movie but certainly some impressive special effects make it worth checking out. I do give it a star bump for the FX. Clearly a indie flick but looks a lot better than most full length features by first time directors. Decent score and audio as well.
I’m looking forward to checking out the other films by this crew.
