FF Day 1: Movie 2!!
Brother/Sister, Mother/Son. Two parallel relationships in desperation grasping for breath. Once again Lee Sang-woo captures a raw tenderness within the its ugly confines. Love how he’s able to paint a different shade of darkness in humanity that’s not often seen in Korean cinema. Solid film for Movie #2 on Day 1 at Fantastic Fest.
