Viewing Notes

Well made satire on reality television with a weekly (or daily) program in which a video crew follows a heavily armored police unit on the duty rescuing civilians, stopping criminals or just taking out “Re-Ans” aka zombies. This is a slick production that looks like another chapter out of World War Z.

Unfortunately other than the television show gimmick, there’s not much new to see here. This is more or less a 12 minute short film repeated seven times with each segment a different zombie encounter with these police having a short breather in-between to be interviewed. Honestly you “get” the entire movie in the first 12 minutes. The rest is same and more zombie action and police shooting at the zombies. It’s like a repetitive video game.

Scott Adkins portrays an interesting character here but he’s rarely the center of attention sadly. Watchable but don’t expect a whole lot.
