Viewing Notes
Enjoyed this comedy action fantasy adventure flick featuring another Monkey King story. Not for everyone but I like it (and think it’s better than Stephen Chow’s recent Journey to the West flick).
The White Tiger cat demon is the coolest character in the movie. I’d love to see more stories with that creature. Really great practical FX and wire-work too (in addition to the CG stuff). Loved seeing all the behind-the-scenes footage during the credits.
