Overview
It’s Friday and everyone is going to the hot new disco. The Commodores are scheduled to play if Floyd shows up with the instruments and Nicole dreams of becoming a disco star. Other characters are there to win the dance contest, or to put a little excitement into a fifth anniversary.

Viewing Notes
Saw this on the shelf at the library and had to pick it up. Not sure if I ever watched this all the way through when it was released but I recall it being on HBO often. It’s basically “one night” movie that has no plot. But it’s such a time capsule it’s hard not to love and appreciate.
