Based on actual creatures that for years have tormented our armed forces in the Middle East, these creatures have now invaded the southwestern deserts of the United States. The Camel Spiders now freely hunt for prey, unafraid of any predator - including man. No place is safe no one is beyond their paralyzing sting. In the end, a small band of hearty fighters are forced to make one last stand against the creatures.

Pretty awful digital FX. Not one of Wynorski’s better creature features mostly bc the CGI is so atrocious and distractingly bad. Granted, most of his monster movies have bad CG FX but this one is especially bad. The story is okay along with the cast even though there’s way too many people in the cast. I get that they’re all there to have plenty of people to kill off but a smaller cast with 1 or 2 deaths would have more impact.
