Viewing Notes

For my 90s Rewatch Project: one of the first DVDs I bought and probably overpaid for it, I’m sure. Released in 1999 I likely watched this in 2000 when it hit home video and purchased this DVD. That was the first and last time so it’s been nearly 16 years since viewing it. Crazy.

Not a great movie by any stretch but certainly a movie that hits the sweet spots for me; a movie I can relate to given the number of similar occasions we had as teenagers trying to get to a distant concert after school. However, the opening credits are probably the best thing in the whole movie. Soundtrack is nice too. So cool to see Lin Shaye in this! In fact, the casting is spot on.
