So cool there’s a Suzuki film in this set. This is a solid Japanese noir that has a familiar device in that a woman who hears the voice the killer recognizes the voice years later. Then it turns into standard procedural with a reporter putting the pieces together to find the killer.
More of a straightforward effort from Suzuki but the mystery keeps it engaging. Good start this Nikkatsu Diamond Guys blu-ray from Arrow Films.
