A lesser Chang Cheh for me. Jimmy Wang Yu is great but even as the central character he’s only in half the movie including an all too quick big battle sword fight at the end. Most of the movie is spent on Kiu Chong’s character searching for Jimmy to reunite him with his lover. More drama here than action for sure. The Flying Fish warriors is a cool idea that never lives up to its potential.
