Overview

The origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who, after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Viewing Notes

Had an aggravating end to the work day so I went to see this to wash away the day. It worked. Still a very entertaining movie. I gotta say however that the emotional beats are the best thing here. There are three of them that really get to me. It’s remarkable that this movie has performed so well. It has been almost 2 months since I saw this opening night and there was still a decent crowd in the theater. More people at this screening than the BvS in the adjacent screen. Nuts.
