Viewing Notes

Second on the kung fu double bill for the Grindhouse Film Festival. Another one I hadn’t seen and surprised just as much given the pedigree here. Both Gordon Liu and Adam Cheng are excellent but so is Ching Li. Johnny Wang is the lead villain this time. Honestly this is one of the best kung fu movies I’ve seen and crazy to see on the big screen with such a gorgeous 35mm print. I would go see this any time it was in theater. I’d love to find this on Blu-ray if it exists. Simply amazing film with insane fight choreography by Lau Kar-Leung.
