Viewing Notes

Secret screening movie and Dan Halsted’s favorite movie. I can understand why. This combines all the best bits from the first two Lone Wolf and Cub movies and turns them into a real grindhouse exploitation flick. Great to see this print again (we saw the same print 3 years ago at the Patio). Such a fun movie to see in theater with a big crowd. The voice actor for Daigoro is spot on perfect.

One thing I really noticed this time is how incredible the score is. I would love to own this score! Definitely more 80s than 70s and very Carpenter-esque.
