Overview
After witnessing a mysterious woman brutally slay a homemaker, prostitute Liz Blake finds herself trapped in a dangerous situation. While the police thinks she is the murderer, the real killer is intent on silencing her only witness.

Viewing Notes
This one has been on my rewatch list for a LONG TIME. I haven’t seen it since I was a kid when it ran on HBO all the time. It was one of those movies I knew I wasn’t supposed to be watching like it was a forbidden fruit of movies.
When MBT programmed their De Palma retrospective I was thrilled at the opportunity to see this on the big screen in 35mm. Wild to see it now having forgotten huge parts of it and only recalling choice moments like the elevator sequence and finale. Plenty of laugh out loud moments esp. when viewing with a large crowd but I love the style in this. The entire movie feels like a dream, which I sure was the intent.
