Points for making it happen! Obviously this is not a good movie being a near beat for beat, shot for shot remake of Raiders by children/teenagers then later adults. The video and audio quality is rather awful (except for the new sequence) but dammit if this isn’t one of the most charming things committed to film… or VHS in this case. Seeing the documentary prior to this really made it more special. So much credit to these kids for making it happen over 7 years then returning as adults to finish it.
Was really great to have Chris Strompolos (Indiana Jones) there for the Q&A with Capone. Very insightful with good questions. Very touching moment when Chris’ dad came up to say this was the first Father’s Day they spent together.
I would recommend viewing the doc before viewing this to get the most enjoyment and appreciation from this DIY production.
