Good animation and elseworlds story in the War of the Worlds universe. A little confusing as to how humans became so technologically advanced during the industrial revolution but this movie has them more militarized than we are today. I’d say because of the alien tech but even then that’s a stretch without any means to adapt it (i.e. way before any modern tech capacity). Maybe this is just an alternate timeline thing, a true elseworlds story.
