Overview
Martin is a total loser, who nobody cares for. When he fails to get a position as guitar player in Lindsay’s band and loses his job on the way, he makes a deal with a Voodoo priestess. She promises him the fulfillment of all his dreams if he swears obedience to her. He becomes a rock star and has many women - but to stay alive, he has to kill other people.

Finally cracked this heavy metal horror that despite being released DTV in 1991 is truly a product of the late 80s that could be double-featured with Black Roses. So hilarious that Michael Angelo Batio is the demon here and does all the guitar work, which is so obvious. Weird that he’s given no screen credit.
It’s too bad Stephen Quadros didn’t learn at least some basic guitar playing so they didn’t have to shoot entirely in close-ups. Traci Lords is probably best thing in this (after Angelo’s insane guitar licks). She elevates a rather bad movie but it’s still a fun watch because it’s so ridiculous.
