Viewing Notes

Needed a distraction so went to $5 Tuesday at Muvico to see this. I suppose it was a distraction but not much. For a film full of one action setpiece after another it’s rather dull and uninspired. It just goes through the beats until the expected end with no surprises. The romance between Statham and Alba appears so forced like they are pretending when they are not. No chemistry. Tommy Lee Jones does his Tommy Lee Jones schtick. Wish we could get Statham in better written films and roles that make his physical prowess mean something.
