Interesting experiment that threads reality with fantasy that really only works with the comedy beats rather than the horror stuff. Because Ray Wise is so iconic I cannot get past him being a character when everyone else is just being themselves. I do like the creature designs and laughed at some of the lighter moments like Josh Ethier’s expressions while editing. Mostly this just strikes me as a fun side project by this inner circle of friends. Which is fine but doesn’t make for anything more than a novelty piece.
