Viewing Notes
Thought I had seen this because it’s very familiar. In fact I’m sure I’ve seen it but just forgot most of it. But I’m gonna count it as new and part of the challenge this month. It’s very strange to view this now given unfortunate background on Victor Salva. It play very differently. And it sad because I like this monster and this is pretty good sequel that doesn’t recreate the first movie.
This was a 35mm print that I could’ve sworn was digital. I was even watching for the reel transitions. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the print was immaculate as this movie probably only had a week or two run in theaters and no one is clamoring to screen it in 35mm these days.
