Viewing Notes

Giving this a full point for being set in Chicago and actually using the city in the movie with on location scenes and landmarks even if the geography is off. That was nice to see on the big screen including a car chase on Wells right behind our office building.

As for the movie it’s hit and miss. Some things work very well and others are flat. The thing that struck me the most is how much I could identify with from the struggling tech company to stringent HR to some of the party antics. I’m sure many could relate even though the movie goes to the extreme.

Probably the worst thing about the movie is the tech resolution when the internet blackout occurs. It’s so eye-rolling awful and silly. At least I didn’t dislike Olivia Munn as this character.
