Viewing Notes

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen this. I thought I remembered better than this because most of this I didn’t recall at all. Also thought that Russell’s character didn’t speak a line in this film, which is incorrect. He just has very few lines. Didn’t realize this was a Paul W.S. Anderson joint either but it makes sense.

Cool cast as well that wouldn’t have meant much to me when I originally saw this. Not sure what happened in Jason Scott Lee’s career that he was cast as the villain (he’s also the big bad in the more recent Crouching Tiger sequel). Biggest takeaway is how amazing Kurt Russell looks and the tremendous shape he’s in for 46 years old when he filmed this. Now I have a new goal to aspire to.
