Overview
This tale is about a decapitating swordswoman who will let nothing stand in her way when she falls in love with a bandit’s son. Chiao Chiao, made famous in One-Armed Swordsman, is the girl who won’t let such trifles as craniums keep her from freeing her man from jail.

Wow I really thought this was a late 70s Shaw so was confused when it started up. This totally has the look and feel of 1970 produced wuxia with a female protagonist. Lisa Chiao Chiao was in the shadow of Cheng Pei-Pei but so were many others at the time.
Terrific finale with two excellent setpieces.
So happy that Prime has this available which is otherwise not an easy one to obtain. Really amazing by the high definition PQ. Colors pop and everything is so clear. So happy that they found these prints and gave them this treatment.
