A social misfit, Willard is made fun of by his co-workers, and squeezed out of the company started by his deceased father by his boss. His only friends are a couple of rats he raised at home, Ben and Socrates. Wonder if I ever saw this as a child. I know I watched BEN.
Wasn’t all that familiar so I guess I didn’t see it as a kid but I probably would’ve liked it. For most of the movie it’s basically a drama with Willard getting pushed around while he trains his rat army. Only really turns into horror in the final act. Haven’t revisited the remake since it was in theater but I think I prefer that version more.
