Overview
Student film and first feature by director Kiyotaka Taguchi. A giant monster invades Japan sending everyone into a panic. The military efforts are useless until a giant robot appears to save humanity. Blends tokusatsu practical FX with CG for an impressive debut.

Viewing Notes
Because one of the films backed out of the fest, Jeff Horne replaced that with two of Kiyotaka Taguchi earlier films since he was a guest at the event. This was fortuitous because I hadn’t seen either. The first was this film, a student film I later found out. No subtitles but really wasn’t needed as it really is about a giant monster, the military’s ineffectiveness and the giant robot that saves the day.
