Viewing Notes

This is the second Daniel Wu / Miriam Yeung rom-com I’ve seen this year. I’m guessing these two struck a chord with audiences so they paired them more than once. They have good chemistry here altho I preferred Drink Drank Drunk more. This has a little too many absurd scenes for example when Wu shows up unexpectedly at Miriam’s apartment when all the cops are there and they somehow convince Wu that they are all part of her immediate family. It’s a silly scene you’d expect in a comedy like this but also holds it back from being great.

But these two do make a cute couple.
