So this is a good example of the kind of movie that is not for me. Well crafted and well acted with good characters but I really, really dislike stalker/creeper stories set in modern day. Not to be confused with slasher/serial killer stories, mind you.
Chasing someone’s social feeds to be like them and get into their space and intimate circle is too real and disturbing. It’s troubling to see that on screen when it happens in real life to different degrees. Very uncomfortable and not a good sit.
This was a twilight screening so discount! But the idiots at Muvico didn’t turn down the house lights. I had to leave to complain. And they still never went down! We (me and two other people) watched the entire movie with the lights on! Of course I complained and turned in my ticket for a free ticket voucher. So my $6.35 will pay for two movies. Thanks, AMC!
