FF2017 Day 2 - Movie 5 Midnighter with nearly the full cast + director there. This is a wild film that features three Fantastic Fest favorites so it’s no surprise the premiere was at this fest. The focus is on a family getaway in the same location as a witches coven, which is creepy and effective. However there is a true crime television show embedded within the film that accounts for the actions that occur during this vacation. It’s unnecessary bc the central story does enough to propel the plot forward. Barbara Crampton is highlight here. Also impressed with Sophie Dalah.
