FF2017 Day 3 - Movie 4. V.I.P. is a brutal yet frustrating crime thriller more graphic than it needs to be. Emphasizes the delicate political struggle between North Korea and South Korea. When it comes to immunity and protection for such a vile criminal held for violent murders of young women on both sides of the border, hands are tied. Makes for an intense viewing but not a happy experience.
