A duo of Edgar Allan Poe adaptations about a greedy wife’s attempt to embezzle her dying husband’s fortune, and a sleazy reporter’s adoption of a strange black cat.

Second film at the Box of Horrors. Only watched the Romero half of this movie, The Facts in the Case of Mr. Valdemar, part of the tribute to him. I’ve got the movie queued up so I can view the Argento half. This is a fun story with Adrienne Barbeau and Tom Atkins. Feels very much like a CREEPSHOW segment, which I believe it was up for consideration.
