For a Xavier Gens flick this is pretty disappointing. TBH if you told me Gens was directing an exorcism movie I’d be pretty damn excited, hence the reason I trucked out to S.Barrington to see this. Has some excellent visuals but too much wheel-spinning and dialogue exposition. I really didn’t need to see another shot of the protagonist driving her car talking on her ear buds. This really needed more of the exorcism stuff and the horror. Lacking in both departments which is already a fail for a movie about exorcism.
As it stands this plays more like a throwaway Netflix movie which is unfortunate.
