#ChiFilmFest feature: Director Atsuko Hirayanagi’s follow-up to her 2014 short film but this time bringing the big guns in Shinobu Terajima and Kaho Minami. Brilliant performances by these two women who make each other better. The movie is through the eyes of Terajima’s tragic character, Lucy (as dubbed by Josh Hartnett’s gauche English teacher), when a train suicide triggers a midlife crisis of sorts that sends her on a wild adventure. This would double well with KUMIKO, THE TREASURE HUNTER. Also Koji Yakusho gets a hilarious bit-part in support.
