Viewing Notes

Korean horror at my local cinema?! Hell yes.

The premise is interesting: murdered victims return from the death to seek revenge on their killers. This is kinda like the ghosts the return to haunt those those responsible for their death. However this movie is bogged down by police procedural plotting that removes some of the weight. Also flops the finale for a redemptive beat rather than dishing out the proper supernatural justice. I suppose they wanted something positive for a dreary storyline with the main characters.

Not bad by any means but pulls a punch it didn’t need. Best thing is that is a 90 minute Korean film! It’s almost like finding a unicorn.
