Viewing Notes

Another Kôji Shiraishi flick from Netflix. Interesting to see his early work. Definitely has a thing for jump scares and shadow play.

This is somehow related to THE GRUDGE films. I’m to understand that this is lifting directly from the Ju-On series while not really being a part of canon. It’s also an anthology of sorts featuring the death of those who saw the man in black. Doesn’t really make sense other than to show how the Grudge ghosts appear and kill their victims (the given description isn’t correct; it’s very random). Only worth viewing to see the ghosts appear and scare the crap of people. Otherwise not a very good movie.
