Really wanted to like this but other than a hooker with a heart of gold (Annie Liu) this isn’t very fun for a full-on fighting movie. I like Francis Ng too. But I was hoping there would be some kind of redemption for the lead character but nope. He’s just an asshole who sometimes is nice to his hooker girlfriend and his sister. I can see the manga being more interesting and complex but the movie version is not.
