With the Christmas season fast approaching, department store window decorator Sloan Van Doren is hoping to take over the recently-vacated head window designer spot but finds she has to prove herself by going up against rival Jake Dooley. Viewing Notes
LOL another Christmas movie set in NYC but filmed in Canada (Vancouver this time around). Also employs a familiar premise where two people who don’t like each other are forced to work together and naturally get together by the end. Also (lots of “also"s) has the subplot where both leads are fakes, pretending to be something they’re not. The perfect holiday movie!
Given all that this one ain’t bad. Having likable leads helps. Chyler Leigh is cool. She almost makes me want to watch the CW superhero shows.
