First time viewing.
Very Japanese. The yokai parade was unexpected but very cool to see. Initial thoughts: longer than it needs to be. For a family fantasy film aimed at kids it doesn’t need to be 2 hours. 90 minutes is ideal. I like this movie as it has a lot going on esp. including Akihito Miwa as a Fox character.
Maybe my least favorite Ghibli but still better than most animated films.
