Second round and another marred viewing. *Sigh*

Knowing what to expect made this watch flowing a little smoother. Not sure if my opinion has changed bc after listening to a few podcasts and reading a few long pieces, the issues I have seem more pronounced. Fortunately I appreciate the central theme and craft so much that my enjoyment outweighs those minor quibbles.

The opening battle sequence is still incredible and the moment with Paige Tico packs an emotional wallop. It hit me hard the first time and wasn’t any less on this viewing. Even though her appearance was short I’m so happy that Veronica Ngo was cast in a movie of this magnitude. I love her so much in Clash and Rebel.

Was already planning to see it again and hopefully my third viewing will go smoothly and uninterrupted.
