Having recently heard a lot about this making of documentary of the Phantom Menace, I figured I’d should watch it before revisiting the movie, which I picked up the blu from the library. Quite surreal to see these actors when they were auditioning. Also has me recalling Celebration III that we attended in 2005.
Watching Ewan accept the role then get introduced to George’s kids is wild… then he gets his beautiful long hair buzzed off! Natalie Portman at 16yo doing a table reading with the cast… wow. This is honestly better than the actual movie.
