This I would’ve seen in theater if Korean movies played here in 2005 like they do now. Overall a decent martial arts fantasy Korean wuxia flick that drags on too long for its own good. Has a handful of fun fight sequences; every one of Yoon So-yi’s fights is good. This is feels more like a kitchen sink movie. Lots of great ideas and imagery mashed together but feels sloppy despite looking good.
Was more entertained by the “making of” and interview segments. Yoon So-yi takes a prop spear right in the face when a stunt goes back. There’s a fun cameo by Choi Ji-Woo that she talks about in the extras.
